Crankcase lapping tools developed by Gil May of Eastern Motorcycle Parts in Amityville Long Island NY in 1976. Gil was the first to reporduce replacement motor parts such as: crank pins tappet and case races. These parts requried the proper tree material heat treating and precision grinding. Worked as intended, although they are durable I would not overfill it with anything too heavy nor too hot. We used it for cold soups and salads and they worked great. Great value considering how many bowls you’re getting. Perfect size for single serving.
