92" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged SOLID Wood Load Bearing Structural Porch Column Pillar PostHEAVY, antique, porch column salvaged from Northeastern, PA. It's made entirely of a solid hardwood (not hollow) and is painted a silver color. The column was designed with a central bulge and is wider in the middle than at the top or bottom. I think that there were 2 handrails connected to the column at some point and the mortises (slots or pockets) were filled. The rim around the area where the capital once sat is broken and chipped.
