Tamiya 1/35 German Panzer IV/70 (A) 35381Late War Armor By the end of WWII, the Pz. Kpfw. IV was starting to show its age as it was confronted by newer Allied armor; one of the solutions for the German forces was the Panzer IV 70(A), which gave it improved firepower. To keep development times short, the Pz. Kpfw. IV Ausf. J chassis was used, and paired with the L 70 7. 5cm gun, which had enough firepower to take care of Allied contemporaries; a modified version of the Jagdpanzer IV 70(V)
