1920s Jack Tar Togs sailor topThis is a classic 1920s Jack Tar Togs sailor style top. Exercise wear from the early 20th century, the sportswear brand's motto was "Rub'em, Tub'em, Scrub'em, They Come Up Smiling." The cream cotton top features a long black tie to detail the neckline, and a sailor's jumper flap. CONDITION In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some age discoloring to the tone, and a spot on the back. Black tie has some thinning near the neckline.

I ordered a size S for my grandson who just turned 6. It was a little large, but roomy so that he could wear it over layers. The jacket is well made from a soft light weight denim. It was easy to add an iron-on patch to embellish the back of the jacket. Good price and value.
