Does not stay cool
I bought this for my bunny and the material itself does feel cool at first. My bunny wast laying on it for about 30- 40 minutes and it feels warm to the touch. So while it does feel cool initially, if your pet is warm the pad will get warm as well. I'd recommend leaving the fan on for your pet in addition to the pad or placing a frozen water bottle on the pad so it keeps the pad cool a little longer.

Best cooling purchase for my indoor cat

I have a Maine coon and he runs very hot. I don’t have much tile in my house so I bought him this, and added it to his bed. He hasn’t left his bed since I put it in there a few hours ago. He would never be in his bed longer than 20 minutes, let alone lay in it all the way. Such a successful buy for what we needed.
