FE Thomas Special Bamboo Rod 8'6" 3/2 #6For sale here is an F. E. Thomas Special grade 8 1 2' with three sections and two tips. Serial no. GH 114, made in 1950. The rod is in very good refinished condition with some varnish wear. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features mildly tempered cane with deep mahogany wraps and emerald tipping at the winding check and male ferrules. Reverse English style guides. Large gradually swelled butt. Nickel silver winding check with ring
