Persimmon Banded Stripes ShadesThis traditional Japanese kasuri fabric has the orange of the persimmon running through the weft and the indigo through the warp. Persimmon dyeing is even rarer than indigo, and gives a lovely soft tone to the light, and this broken stripe shows it off to its best.
