1/120 Nunney Castle Cl. 2013 BR GreenDesigned by Charles Collett, the Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Great Western Railway, Nunney Castle No. 5029 was built at the Swindon Works in 1934. The Castle Class was also known as the GWR 4073 Class, designed for hauling express passenger trains. Based on the earlier Star Class locomotive, 171 of the class were built over a 27 year period. Locomotive No. 5029 was named after a late 14th century castle in a small village near Frome, Somerset.
